I was astonished that it indeed was possible to add to this relative traditional music style so many new nuances and angles. The guitarplayer puts this music into frames I never have heard before. Original and impressive. This duo is something special.

Egon gaard This is a fantastic CD recorded at Karma Studio fall of 1978. The only record Egon gaard recorded in his own name. Participating are Peter Bastian, Mehmet Ozan, Hugo Rasmussen and Hans J¿rgen Christensen. This CD draws a wonderful portrait of a much missed musician. Listen to Egon when he is at his best on this incredibly seductive and competent CD.

The music is very dynamic, and it virtually explodes in energy and musicallity in f. ex. Swan Lake.
Hajduk Suite - on the contray, is an orgie in beautiness and intensity.
Macic seems to come from Ocarina and Organ. Heartbraking and dramatic.

I don'n know if this should be called folk or electroakustic, but I do know that it is kickin' nice.
A CD in 3 parts made of sounds based only on vocal and bewiched by Line Tjørnhøj and her incridible voice. Turned upside down, streched, morphed and worked on, as was it a sculpture.
In this "sculpture" lives a beautifull thing.
Meet this "thing" at this CD wich - by the way - is recorded in dolby surround. (Can be played in stereo)

Duo Resonante is most sought after for theater music and modern ballet, but they also have their fans of their own: They sold over 3000 of their CD's without any organized distribution, - just like that!
Theese 2 guys are my personal friends,- but anyway: Their music is something special, very good indeed!

Free-form Jazz as it is or was, because this is recordings from 1966-67. Franz Beckerlee på alto sax, Bo Thrige, drms, Hugh Steinmez, trp, Steffen Andersen, bas and Nils Harriet SAW! Recordings are great and the music highly influented by Eric Dolby, Albert Ayler and others. But this is the Danish version, floating saw and intense playing from everybody makes this CD unique.

Sadley she died from cancer, but shortley before she made this very loveley CD with friends and musicians from Christiania.

This is maybe the most typically Danish "modern" folk music from around -74 with drums, el bass, violin, flute m.m. and a lot of vocal.
Great CD from a very popular band, later turned inti Lilholdt band. But this is indded very good and has the spirit of the time.
